Statement Of Faith The Bylaws of Spiritual Dynamics, 'ARTICLE II - STATEMENT OF FAITH' reads as follows: We believe in one GOD, creator and sustainer of all things, infinitely perfect and eternally existing in three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We believe in the deity and humanity of our Lord Jesus Christ as the only begotten Son of GOD, in His virgin birth by the Holy Spirit, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, in His rule as Head of the Church, and in His imminent future return. We believe GOD created mankind in GOD's own image and therefore perfect. However, spiritual and physical death entered the world when the first man and woman sinned against GOD, the beginning of a sinful nature, which is passed on to all generations. Mankind was created to exist forever. We will either exist eternally separated from GOD as the result of our sinfulness, or eternally with GOD through forgiveness and salvation. We believe Jesus Christ, GOD incarnate, paid the full penalty for mankind's sin when He died on the cross of Calvary. Any person who, in simple faith, accepts the risen Christ, receives the gift of salvation and eternal life. We believe in the person and deity of the Holy Spirit who came into the world following the ascension of Jesus Christ to convince people of their sinfulness and separation from GOD, to bring about spiritual rebirth when a person accepts Jesus Christ as their Savior, to enter in and indwell new believers as a seal of GOD's grace, and to guide and empower believers toward growing and maturing in their faith. We believe that every believer is a new creature in Christ, and is called to walk in the Spirit, to turn from sin, and to live unto righteousness, and thereby manifest the fruit of the Spirit, conforming oneself to the likeness of Christ; that good works are the fruit of the Christian life, and are not ways of justification. We believe in the priesthood of every believer under the Lordship of Jesus Christ, and in the spiritual unity of all believers as the Body of Christ with Jesus as Head. |
